TECHNICAL VISIT TO TÜTAGEM LABORATORIES
On April 16, 2025, students from the Food Technology Program under the Department of Food Processing at Trakya University Arda Vocational School, visited the laboratories of the Trakya University Technology Research and Development Application and Research Center (TÜTAGEM), accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Halide Karabıyık and Lecturer Damla Zeynep Ütebay.
As part of the technical visit, students toured the laboratory units and had the opportunity to directly observe how various chemical analyses are performed. Lecturer Dr. Saffet Çelik and Chemist Tuğba Tunceli, staff members at TÜTAGEM, introduced the analytical instruments used in the laboratories and provided detailed information about the analysis processes.
This visit enabled students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical experience and contributed to raising their awareness of analytical procedures. The importance of quality control and analytical processes was emphasized throughout the visit, offering students valuable insights for their professional development.
The technical trip proved highly beneficial in providing students with the opportunity to observe current practices in their field and gain hands-on laboratory experience.
