Internship advisors inform the students under their supervision.

Students with a GPA of 1.80 or above must first get approval from their internship advisor for the company where they plan to intern.

Students approved by their advisor must print 3 copies of “Form 1. Internship Agreement” from the attached list, fill out and sign all fields completely.

Students submit the completed and signed forms (3 copies) to their internship advisor.

The advisor ensures all 3 copies of Form 1 are signed by the school director and hands them back to the student.

Students then get the signed agreements approved by the company where they will intern.

Once signatures are completed, students submit one copy to the company, one to their advisor, and keep one for final submission with spring semester internship documents.

Students upload “Form 1. Internship Agreement” and the “SGK insurance document” (downloaded from e-Government) to the MS Teams folder created in their name by the internship advisor (as screenshot, PDF, JPEG, etc.).

TO OBTAIN THE HEALTH INSURANCE DOCUMENT;

Log in to www.turkiye.gov.tr and click on “SPAS Eligibility Inquiry (Health Provision Activation System)” under Social Security Institution - Joint Services (4A/4B/4C) to obtain your document.

REGISTRATION WEEK

Students who will attend workplace training must enroll in both “Vocational Education in the Workplace” and “Internship” courses during course registration week.

03 FEBRUARY 2025

Start of Vocational Education in the Workplace (Internship).

Students fill out “Form 2. Starting Work Notification” from the list and upload it to their MS Teams folder created by the advisor.

Students print and deliver to the workplace responsible: “Form 3. Attendance Sheet”, “Form 4. Midterm Evaluation Form”, “Form 5. Company Evaluation Form”, “Form 7. Government Support Form”.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The attendance sheet must be signed daily by the responsible person at the workplace.

If a student obtains a medical report during the internship, they must notify both the workplace and the advisor, and upload the report to their MS Teams folder (screenshot, PDF, JPEG, etc.).

Students cannot be absent without permission from the workplace supervisor.

Maximum allowed absences: 10 days.

MIDTERM

AS PART OF THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION COURSE: Students ensure the company supervisor completes and signs “Form 4. Midterm Evaluation Form”. The wet-signed form must be submitted to the advisor at the specified date and time in the midterm schedule.

Midterms for Turkish Language, Atatürk’s Principles and History of Reforms, and failed courses will be conducted face-to-face on campus. Students must inform the company and obtain permission for the exams.

Advisors will report students who do not continue their internship to the Directorate in writing.

Internship (Workplace Education) ends.

FINAL EXAM

26 MAY 2025

Students submit all required wet-signed documents to their advisor at the time and date announced by the Vocational School.

Documents to be submitted:

Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, Form 4, Form 5, Form 6

FOR STUDENTS WHO WILL ATTEND INTERNSHIP BASED ON THEIR 3rd SEMESTER GPA

30 JANUARY 2025

Students who did not reach 1.80 GPA after 2nd semester, but achieve it at the end of 3rd semester, should contact their advisor to prepare their internship documents.
